Fondazione Ariel
Fondazione Ariel was founded in 2003 to assist families with children affected by Cerebral Palsy and other neuromotor disabilities. Cerebral Palsy (CP) affects one child in 500 newborns and is due to irreversible damage to the central nervous system. Children affected by it present, from the first months of life, a neuro psychomotor delay that affects the entire body with varying intensity and with progressively disabling repercussions. Fondazione Ariel was founded to respond to the thousand needs of the families of these children by providing them with psychological and social support, guidance on services and resources, medical, psycho-pedagogical training, information and protection of rights. Furthermore, it promotes scientific research to develop knowledge, treatment and care of CP and rare infantile neuromotor diseases.
